"Welcome back to Equanimity: Letting Go of Attachments. I'm your host, Master Rinda."

Through resilience, growth, and learning to let go of unrealistic expectations, I've come to understand the calm that comes from accepting imperfection. In this episode, my goal is to help you find balance between your mind and body, and to stay steady while meeting yourself exactly as you are.

I'm really happy you're here today. This is a space where you don't have to be perfect - you just have to be yourself.

Today's episode is especially for teens who feel pressure to succeed, to meet expectations, and to get everything right.

Imperfect is perfect.

Many teens grow up believing that being good enough is never enough. Sometimes the pressure comes from parents. Sometimes it comes from inside ourselves.

Expectations can motivate us - but they can also overwhelm us.

When expectations are too high, they can turn into stress, fear, and self-doubt.

You are not a machine.

You are allowed to be tired. You are allowed to struggle. You are allowed to learn slowly.

Perfection does not exist. Mistakes don't mean you failed. They mean you tried.

Chasing perfection steals joy.

Equanimity teaches balance. Not too hard. Not too easy. Just enough.

Doing your best doesn't mean doing it perfectly. Progress matters more than perfection.

Parents often push because they care and worry. It's okay to say that pressure feels hard.

You can ask for understanding, not control.

Before achievements. Before grades. Before approval.

You are enough now. Your worth is not measured by success.

Your imperfections make you human.

Self-kindness builds strength.

If you're feeling like you're never doing enough, take a slow breath.

Meet yourself in the middle. That middle place is where peace lives.

Thank you for spending this time with me.
