"Welcome back to Equanimity: Letting Go of Attachments. I'm your host, Master Rinda."

Through surviving illness, learning the limits of my strength, training my body, and teaching others, I've discovered that the body is always speaking—long before the mind understands.

Today, we will gently explore what it means to listen to your body's wisdom, and how equanimity can help you reconnect with the physical signals that guide your well-being.

I'm grateful you're here. This is a soft space to breathe and return to yourself.

In a world that teaches us to push, achieve, and override our discomfort, many people become disconnected from their bodies. Teens push through exhaustion. Adults ignore stress signals. Even simple emotions get buried under responsibilities.

But equanimity teaches us that the body and mind are not separate—they are partners.

Reconnecting with your body begins with awareness. Your body whispers long before it shouts.

Fatigue is a message. Tension is a message. Irritation is a message. Ease is a message.

Your body is not the problem. It is the messenger.

Honoring physical signals helps you prevent burnout and make choices that support your whole being.

When you slow down enough to feel your breath, your heartbeat, your posture, your tension—you begin to understand what your body has been trying to tell you.

Reducing stress through awareness is not complicated. It begins with noticing: where does your body feel heavy? Where does it feel open? Where does it feel tight, pressured, or tired?

You don't need to fix anything immediately. You simply need to listen.

Listening builds trust with your body. When you respond—resting when tired, pausing when overwhelmed, breathing when tense—you create a relationship of safety within yourself.

Your body's wisdom is ancient. It has carried you through every season. It knows when to slow down. It knows when something isn't right. It knows what pace feels natural.

If you've been disconnected from your body, take a gentle breath. It's not too late to return. Your body is still speaking, still guiding, still waiting for you.

Thank you for spending this moment with me.
